Story

Metro Rod who are the sponsors of Kiddie Climb 2019 have put together a team of adults and children to complete this years climb.
Children from the age of 3 will attempt to climb Mt Snowdon on 22nd June 2019. As most of you will know this is not an easy task and can take anything up to 7 hours for some kids. Many adults haven't attempted or completed this challenge yet our children are going to do it.
We are aiming to raise money and awareness about Rose Blossom Trust, a trust very close to our hearts. Rose Blossom Trust was set up by our friends Natalie and Mark Chapman following the diagnosis that there twin girls Darcie & Evie had both got Dravet syndrome - they are the only known set of twins to both have this life limiting condition. Sadly Darcie aged just 5 passed away and beautiful Evie although doing really well struggles with every day tasks that most other people take for granted. Evie can't climb Snowdon - so our children will, in memory of Darcie and to raise money for families suffering the devastating effects of Dravet Syndrome.
PLEASE HELP US BY SPREADING THE WORD AND HELPING US RAISE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE.
Please give kindly, but every donation no matter how small goes a very long way to help our friends and other families in a similar situation.
The children walking as part of #teammetrorod are Jessica & Madeline Yates, Millie & Bradley Higham, Sam Lawrenson, Oliver Nixon, Lewyn Trevett, Theo Winstanley, Lidia, Noah & Imogen Yates, Abbie Watkins, Ella & Eivissa Grounds, Melissa Close, Makenzie & Mason Worthington, Olivia & Kieran Fox, Jodie & Sophie Hill, Gracie Kennedy, Roan Blower and Lucy & Sophie Hill.
