On the 24th March St Bees Triers running club will kick off their biggest charity challenge to date. We are recreating the longest journey home that mankind has ever made, the 250,000 mile journey home from the moon. All funds raised will be split equally between Comic Relief and the homeless charity Calderwood House in Egremont. The 24hr kick-start event will start at Adams Recreation Ground in St Bees on the Friday 12:00 noon and runs through the night to Saturday 12 noon. The challenge will then continue through the coming months until the target is achieved. Please help us to raise some money for these great charities or better still come along and take part - run, walk, or cycle. The event is open to all and there are routes to suit everyone!
St Bees Triers is a local running club with ~100 members who meet and
train weekly. There are also social runs held during the week.
Throughout the year we also raise money for several different charities
with one big 24 hour event every March around comic relief which gets
bigger and better every year. This site is being set up for this years
event which is going to be our biggest yet raising money for comic relief
and Calderwood house homeless charity
