The sands of time are slowly draining away, and the best before date is closing in as fast as an express train, even standing still is harder to achieve these days, but before that curtain closes for the last time I would be so proud and humbled to achieve two final challenges. The first is a massive task to raise at least £75000 to provide rubber playground areas and entertainment facilities for the children at Newman School, Whiston, Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The money raised will provide exciting outdoor, inclusive equipment and facilities that just wouldn't exist without you. Together we can make a huge difference to this school and its children. You can support the incredible team of dedicated staff by helping us to enhance the outside area of Newman School, enabling the children to reach their full potential.
The spectacular amount of money needed to fulfil my dream of providing these life enhancing facilities for the school, warrants an equally spectacular challenge. And so to achieve and match the fund-raising challenge, I will be to running seventy-five marathons over 75 days, beginning on my 75th birthday. The massive target we are aiming to raise is reachable and achievable, but will need the help from my friends, colleagues and running buddies
