Story

Empathy for special children’s aims are simple to reduce the isolation and improve the lives of children and families growing up with ASD and additional needs in Shropshire. We believe that every child should have an equal opportunity to access a fun and fulfilled childhood.
Ant has been a part of the Empathy family for 3 years and as a Senior Playleader, with a natural ability to connect with the children and young people, Ant ensures that is just what we deliver.
During 2015 / 2016 the "12 months of FUNdraising" campaign not only celebrates our 5th year and but also, we hope, will raise some much needed funds and awareness of the challenges our children and their families face every day.
Senior Management, Trustees, Parents, Kids and Playleaders are all undertaking individual challenges throughout the year and Ant has generously offered to show us all how it's done ;) and run the Shrewsbury Half Marathon  !!!
Through his work with Empathy, Ant inspires kids who are rarely given a reason to dream.  By supporting him in this challenge you enable us, as a team, to provide local opportunities for families to come together, find a friend, some laughter, some fun, somewhere to belong and somewhere for Ant to do his thing.
Please give all you can
