Alex Jones, local dance instructor has persuaded a number of male volunteers to be waxed, dress up and participate in a Boogie Bounce session to raise money for the Association.
The event will held at the Back Community Centre at Back Football Club on the 22nd February between 6pm and 9pm.
Included will be a light buffet, a catwalk where attendees can judge the volunteers with the best outfit receiving lunch for 2 at the Lewis Smoke House.
There will be party dances with prizes donated by the Toy shop and the Co-op.
Finally the participants will be led in a Boogie Bounce exercise session.

Western Isles Association for Mental Health is a charity based in the
Outer Hebrides. We provide a range of services and activities and play a
lead role locally in raising awareness and challenging the issues
surrounding mental health.
We run a drop-in centre (Catch 23) based in Stornoway for people
experiencing mental health issues. Through this service we aim to:
Promote and maintain the health/ wellbeing of service user group. Reduce
social isolation and stigma felt by the service user group.
Increase the confidence and self- esteem of service user group.
Create better life chances through education/ employment &
opportunities to volunteer.
