Formed in 1987, Isis Cricket Club take their name from the river running adjacent to our home cricket ground at Queens College, Oxford.   We play friendly midweek and weekend cricket and place as much importance on camaraderie and an after-match beer as the result itself.  We are pleased to support The Maple Tree, a Volunteer-run children's centre that reopened in January 2018 as an independent charity following the council's complete removal of funding for children's centres in 2016. The centre is open Mon-Fri mornings for sessions especially aimed at parents and children aged 0-5.

About the good cause

The Maple Tree The Maple Tree

At the Maple Tree we offer a wide range of early learning activities based on play for children under five. There are also activities that older sisters and brothers can join in with after school, during school holidays and at weekends. For parents and carers the Maple Tree is a place to make friends, to enjoy spending time with their children and sometimes to get help with the tough task of parenting.
