I have always had extremely long hair for a boy and I'm used to people thinking I am a girl! This has never bothered me as I like my long hair, I always just shrugged it off and smiled. Recently I have decided to have it cut, so thought I could do it to raise money for charity. The money I raise will go to a local charity in Northampton that support children with cancer and their families. The charity is called Alfe's Cause.
I have too much hair to just throw away so my Mum suggested that we send it off to be made into a wig for children going through chemotherapy or children with alopecia. This charity is called Little Princess Trust.
I look forward to seeing you with my new haircut.
Thank you for supporting me by sponsoring.
Alfe's Cause is a charity supporting Northamptonshire families whose child has a
long term illness. Our main purposes are: 1. The prevention and relief of
sickness of children in Northamptonshire (including those who are being treated
in Northampton General Hospital) who have a long term illness or disability (in
particular, but not exclusively cancer) and their families. 2. To advance the
education of the public in the subject of childhood cancer in Northamptonshire
for the public benefit.
