Story

On 10th September 2015 our world was shattered, when our son James passed away.

James was just 18 a strapping 6'4 fit and healthy young man. James died from sudden cardiac arrest, which affects between 12-15 children and young people every week in the uk.  The past 8 months have been far from easy, still taking a day at a time.

Anyone that knows me will know I am not a great one for exercise, so many people will be shocked to know that on the 14th of February (ironic I know) both myself and my great friend Jane Thomson signed up for the St Albans walking half marathon.
At the time DiPPs was in the early planning stage .
Three months later, many pavements pounded and many personal and world issues put to rights in our training walks, Jane and I are ready to take on St Albans in James' name.

Thank you for visiting our golden giving site and for any donations you can give to support DiPPs to provide Defibrillators in Public Places, every minute counts and defibrillators vastly increase the chance of survival from a sudden cardiac arrest. I hope any defibrillator we place doesn't need to be used, if it does and saves one family from the heartache we have .....
James memory will live forever in DiPPs.
