Covid 19 is hitting our communities and businesses hard, including small charities like ours. We have been working behind the scenes to launch Shed Online to keep connecting with our members, but also to provide additional FREE services and resources for our members AND wider community throughout the Covid 19 lock down.
The Theatre Shed has had to cancel essential fundraising events such as the Sheds Shorts show week, and our biennial Gala due to Covid 19.
We have to make sure our charity is financially safe to carry on throughout this epidemic, and to ensure we are still here for our members when this is all over. This is where YOU come in!

The Theatre Shed
Seeing is believing. The aim of The Theatre
Shed is to inspire, innovate & include through the medium of Performing
Arts. Our workshops are professionally led and allow our young people to explore
performance skills such as acting, singing, dancing, physical theatre and more
in a supportive environment. We do not have an audition process, which we
believe creates a more accessible pathway for all young people to engage in
Performing Arts. The workshops are member inspired and can be skills based, or focused
on working towards a production which the members are involved in creating from
the very start.
The children & young adults are encouraged & supported by their mentors to devise & develop their ideas with the freedom of self-expression. The Theatre Shed works with young people of all abilities, irrespective of background, ability, disability or difficulty, producing excellent, thought provoking, challenging and above all, entertaining theatre.
