At Iliffe Arts we aim to inspire vulnerable people to achieve their potential through the arts and creative projects. By donating to our cause, you will be helping us to build and provide tools for our much needed work pod which will enable us to offer work experience and volunteering opportunities for people who need extra support in finding employment. The pod will allow the local community to learn how to create environmentally friendly design and make products out of recycled materials for our 'Up-Cycle Shop'. Proceeds of which will go to our RECC Project (Recycle. Educate. Community. Crafts.)
The RECC Project aims to educate people on how they can help the environment by reducing their carbon footprint, and teach them how to live a more eco-friendly life by providing free family friendly workshops for the whole community. All Iliffe Arts proceeds will go back in to the project, as we are a not-for-profit organisation.
Iliffe Arts is an art based social enterprise, set up specifically to address
the needs of vulnerable young people. Particularly those who are looked after,
fostered and or adopted and also those underachieving young people of black
African, Afro-Caribbean and mixed race origin. We are passionate about using the
medium of visual and performing arts to raise self-esteem, self-confidence,
recognise strength and build resilience to enable these young people to reach
their full potential.
