Oliver was an inspiration to everyone around him - always full of compliments, giving hugs, playing, reading and living life. We are so blessed and lucky to have known his beauty and would like keep his spirit alive through giving back to a charity that helped Oliver so much during his earlier years. Oliver at a young age had challenges with his mobility and it was thanks to the “Power Pleas” Charity that provided him with a specially adapted tricycle that offered an alternative means of mobility while having a therapeutic effect. The trikes help strengthen muscles in the correct pattern of movement and increasing balance to help improve self-confidence and increase independence as well as being great fun. These Trikes can cost approximately £1800, so we really need everyone to support us to raise money for this amazing charity.
POWER PLEAS is a Wolverhampton based small registered charity that since 1987
has provided outdoor electrically powered wheelchairs and other aids for
children with mobility disorders. Over 200 recipients have benefited from mainly
wheelchairs, but more recently Trikes (32 so far!) that could not have been obtained under the state provision.
