Story

I am raising money for Calderwood House, a local homeless hostel in Egremont.  I am challenging myself to run 5 miles a day from 27th April 2020 for 14 consecutive days, running a total of 70 miles!  Which is the equivalent to 2.5 marathons and 5.4 GNR'S.  Please note: this will be 1 hours of running each day inline with the governments guidelines and with social distancing in place, if you see me, please give me a shout and a wave!  All donations are welcome. Calderwood House is currently full to capacity supporting those most in need in our community, all money raised will go towards the up keep during the outbreak of Covid-19.

I have ran the GNR twice now for Calderwood House, this year its likely that the GNR 2020 will be cancelled and they have had to postpone their Sleep Out event which was to take place on the 24th April 2020, this is my way of supporting them with vital funds.

About the good cause

Time to Change (West Cumbria) Project CIC Time to Change (West Cumbria) Project CIC

Welcome to Time To Change West Cumbria, we are a Community Interest Company with charitable aims.  We run two projects in West Cumbria and rely on charitable activities to be able to run our services for people in our community.

Calderwood House opened in October 2015 in Egremont, a homeless hostel for ex service men and other local people in our community.

Women Out West opened in June 2019 in Whitehaven, a project that offers a range of services for disadvantaged women in our community.
