Benton CC is a football club that champions inclusion, community and mental health. This year, we have decided to fundraise for Action Foundation, a local charity, during Refugee Week.  Action Foundation supports refugees and asylum seekers across Tyne and Wear with housing, language and social support.

We’ve been supporting Action Foundation over the last few months so we thought Refugee Week was a great opportunity to raise some money and put our fitness to the test!

First up, we’re going to be taking on the 7/14/21 challenge – with players choosing to cover 7, 14 or even 21 miles over the course of the week. We'd love for as many of our friends and family to join us on this challenge and support a great local charity - whether you're a beginner jogger or seasoned pro!

We’re also going to be doing fitness challenges (including a keep up challenge!) which you can check out over on our Facebook page. If you join us on this challenge - or any of your own fitness challenges- then please do tag Benton CC and Action Foundation on social media!

Please donate what you can to support the team and Action Foundation – it’s a great cause!
