Story

Hi everyone,

It's my birthday on the 1st of May and seeing as though there's not much to do this year I thought I might as well do something positive!

It has been hard to come up with a challenge that adheres to the stay at home guidelines, whilst being mentally and physically challenging enough to warrant sponsorship...SO...I have decided to cycle 100 miles on my (very slow) air bike which should take me approximately 6.5 hours with no break!

Instead of buying me a pint at the local this year, I'd love it if you would donate some funds to an cause very close to my heart.

I am taking on this challenge in aid of 'Something To Look Forward To' a local cancer charity because cancer is affecting people even more during lockdown due to treatments being cancelled and people not being able to spend time with their loved ones when time is so precious. This charity has had to cancel many of their summer fundraising events so I am encouraging others to take on a #LockdownChallenge too!

Thank you all in advance; make sure you tune in to my Facebook Live on 1st May and don't forget to tick the gift aid box when you donate!
