Turnitin Charity Cycle Team will tackle the Sandstone Way with the aim of raising £3000 for Action Foundation. The team of 6 will complete the 120 mile ride between 27th and 29th of June 2019.
Turnitin have selected Action Foundation as one of their chosen charities for 2019 and to kick start their fundraising an all male staff team of 6 keen cyclists will be taking on the 120 mile challenge of the Sandstone Way mountain bike route over 3 days 27-29 June 2019.
Team member Nathan Davies explained "It is easy to support Action Foundation, what they stand for and the problems they are solving. Raising funds for this charity to continue its great work is an excellent way for us to give back to society and help to make it better."
Why the Sandstone Way? Because it is a challenge. For many of us this is the biggest ride we've ever undertaken; a challenging journey. All of us enjoy mountain biking as a hobby and wanted to undertake a challenge that could, in some way, give something back to society. By tackling the Sandstone Way we can support and promote the trail as well as raising money for Action Foundation. Also, it looks like fun!
