Welcome to the first ever Rockinghorse Virtual 5K Run
Anyone can take part in this challenge to raise vital funds to help sick children in Sussex.
All you have to do to register is purchase a ticket from this page.
Once you have your ticket you can do your 5K run at a time and place to suit you.
Using a sports watch, smart phone, step counter or another device you can capture evidence that you have completed your run. If you have any problems with doing this our Challenge Events Fundraising Manager Lucy will be on hand to help and advise you.
Once you have the evidence that you have completed your 5K, you can email it to Lucy.Pond@Rockinghorse.org.uk
You will receive your very own Rockinghorse Run medal to show your friends.
THANK YOU for raising funds for Rockinghorse!
The cancellation and postponement of marathons and other events have cost the charity sector an estimated £4bn over the last few weeks. Thanks to modern technology and the determination of people like you, we are able to turn to virtual fundraising to help us to continue raising the money we need to support The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and other Children's NHS services in Sussex when they need us most.
In these unprecedented times exercise is so important to protect both your physical and mental health, we hope that you will be able to take part in this virtual 5K in a way that is safe and in keeping with the Government guidelines on social distancing.
Official fundraising arm of The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital (The Alex) and Trevor Mann Baby Unit(TMBU), both in Brighton. We also provide vital funds to The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) based in the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. In addition we run a campaign called Sussex Giving for Sussex Children which enables us to support pediatric care services across the county that make life better for sick children and their families.
