A fun day out for the whole family!

On Sunday 23rd June, Baroness Van Dedem, resident of Trumpeters' House, Richmond, has given over her exquisite gardens to SPEAR for an Art Fair and Garden Party.
As well as affordable works of art to buy, there will be Afternoon Tea, live music, a raffle, a designer/vintage clothing stall, a bake-off featuring cakes produced by local bakeries/cafes, a visit from the Mayor of Richmond plus activities and garden games for all.
Baroness Van Dedem, herself an artist of note, will be presenting SPEAR with her portrait of the charity's founder, Penny Wade.  The Baroness will be taking painting commissions in order to raise funds for SPEAR.  Should you be interested in commissioning a portrait of yourself, a loved one or even a pet then please bring along photographs on the day.
Admission is £3 for over 16s.

About the good cause

SPEAR has been transforming people's lives for over 30 years. In 1987, after the tragic deaths of two rough sleepers on the banks of the River Thames at Richmond, the local community came together to open a night shelter. Two years later a hostel, still in operation today, was set up in Richmond. Since then, SPEAR has transformed as a charity, offering a range of accommodation options and support services to people experiencing homelessness across five South West London boroughs: Richmond, Merton, Kingston, Sutton and Wandsworth.
