Celebrate our 10th Anniversary in style at our Gift of Words Charity Dinner Dance

This prestigious Black-Tie evening will welcome 200 key influencers and decision makers in the region for an evening of dining, dancing, poetry and speakers on the eve of Refugee Week 2019.

We are delighted to be welcoming Rev. Paul Butler, The Bishop of Durham as our After-Dinner Speaker as well as award-winning poet Selina Nwulu and our Patron, Maurice Wren, CEO of The Refugee Council.

Soak up the history and atmosphere in the unique venue of The Turbine Hall at CastleGate, which originally housed the turbines that produced the electricity for the city trams of Newcastle.  With its’ cavernous ceiling and charming architecture, you and your guests are in for a special treat. Dance the night away to the sounds of The Crossings Band whilst soaking up the ambience and finish the evening with a nightcap at the bar and your raffle ticket in hand!
