About

Sid, Lara and Claire will be turning up the heat for Home-Start Herts

The days will be hot, and the trekking will be tough but that is not stopping our three courageous and dedicated trekkers undertaking a challenging 5 day expedition across one of the worlds biggest desserts - the Sahara.

Their 100km journey will take them beyond the Jebel Saghro region where they will  pass through valleys, gorges, plateaus, sand dunes and oasis. Each evening as the suns sets our weary trekkers will share a well deserved Moroccan meal with their companions before wild camping under the starry sky.

All three of our trekkers are extremely passionate about Home-Start and they are determined to do their very best and raise as much money as they can so that Home-Start can go on supporting families in difficulty who are, through no fault of their own, unable to provide the secure and happy environment that we know children need to thrive.

Please support our soon to be, hot and sweaty, trekkers in their quest!
